Circus on 10 October at Arena Wien is cancelled
The costs of creating events have exploded in recent years. A Circus production now roughly costs 3-4 times as much as when we started. This financial reality means we can’t make Circus at Arena Wien work right now. This isn’t a reflection on Arena or its team: I’m grateful to have worked with them for so many years.
After 15 amazing years at this legendary venue, this decision has been very difficult. I’m sorry it took me some time to explore all the possibilities and find the right words - and that I won’t be seeing you on 10 October.
Circus will be back, better than ever. I have some wonderful options for a new home for Circus and I’m also developing new projects to bring our community together. I can’t wait to share what’s next.
Thank you for 15 incredible years. Stay tuned and subscribe to our newsletter for updates.
With love,
Simon
